The Story
KIN, in collaboration with BLAST and Redd+E, took a monumental step by co- organising the BLAST Premier World Finals 2024. The event marked a significant entry into Southeast Asia, specifically Singapore – a vibrant hub for esports enthusiasts. This pivotal event not only showcased KIN’s commitment to providing exceptional event experiences but also highlighted our ability to foster significant growth within the esports industry in Singapore and beyond.
Our objectives were:
- To introduce a global-level esports event to Southeast Asia: Thismarked the first time the BLAST Premier World Finals were held in the region, creating a landmark moment for local and regional esports communities.
- To create an unparalleled esports spectacle: Focusing on delivering intense competition and unforgettable experiences for participants and spectators alike.
- To contribute towards the growth of esports in Singapore: Through this event, KIN aimed to ignite industry-wide growth and support the development of a vibrant, inclusive esports community.
By teaming up with prominent entities: BLAST and Redd+E, KIN leveraged combined expertise to ensure a high-quality event. The focus was on creating a unique and engaging experience, from immersive event design to the selection of competitive games that appeal to a wide audience. Extensive efforts were made to involve the local and regional esports communities through interactive activities and inclusive participatory opportunities.
The BLAST Premier World Finals 2024 was held in Singapore from October 30 to November 3. The event featured top-tier esports competitions, drawing participants and spectators from around the world. Activities were designed to maximise engagement and provide entertainment beyond the competitions.
The event attracted attendees, both in-person and virtually, from across the globe. There was also a significant increase in the local and regional esports community engagement. The successful execution of the event has been credited with setting a new benchmark for esports events in Southeast Asia, propelling Singapore into the spotlight as a key player in the global esports arena.
